Bonjour !

This November I was invited to the French Highschool here in Bucharest to teach the beauty of cyanotype.

The participants were 7 and 8 year olds, all curious to hear what they were about to do and very excited to bring home to their parents, grandparents or siblings a small gift that they had made themselves.

For the plants we used, I searched an entire park looking for a ginseng tree because I love their butterfly shaped leaves. I couldn’t find the ginseng that I knew was near a kids playground, but I found plenty of other beautiful leaves. I picked up some pine cones, some bold cypress cones, plane tree leaves, red oak leaves, cottonwood leaves, willow leaves and many others.

The prints came out great and the kids really enjoyed the workshops. They even gave me a grup hug at the end <3
